My #100daysofpossibility was about telling myself and others something positive every day that helps us combat the hustle with hope. PIC/ISTOCK
I love challenges. Maybe it's the journalist in me, but give me a deadline or a time to finish something, and I am all over it like a carb-love is on pizza. Laugh out loud.
And since, I am a social media nut, I do all my challenges online, so I can be held accountable. I started with the 75-day reset and then I decided that I wanted to do something for my mindset.
That's when the #100daysofpossibility came into being. It was about telling myself and anyone who is following me every day, something positive, something that helps us combat the hustle with hope.
It was about reaching day 100 knowing that we could accomplish anything we set our mind onto. I started my own version - #100daysofpossibility, which was affirmations for 100 days. The daily prompts range from "Leave the past in the past" to "Choose what chooses you" to "Take one step or action today" to "Behave as if you already have it".
Now, 100 days seem like a long time but on the day this publishes, it would be day 99. I complete 100 days tomorrow, and I am pretty proud of my consistency. I managed to do something for 100 days!
I managed to remind myself of good things and thoughts for 100 days! I can now do anything!
That's exactly where I wanted to be at the end of it. I wanted to remind myself that I can do anything, achieve anything, manifest anything.
This is your sign to try a challenge - 20 days, 50 days, or 100. It will help you stay disciplined and consistent and it will help you remember that you can literally do the work, you just have to keep at it. You got this.
>> âDo the challenge on social media. The fact that everyone is watching will keep you accountable.
>> âDo a challenge that aligns with your core goal - fitness, positivity, or a writing challenge. Don't copy someone else, do what moves you.
>> âTake one day at a time. And don't force yourself to do the challenge at one certain time. Be kind with yourself.
>> âRemind yourself why you started this. You need to get out of a rut. So continue. You will be happy you did.
