This is what cops told court to seek extension of his police custody; judge sends vice-principal accused of molesting teen to Yerawada jail
As per the latest development in the alleged attempt to rape of a 14-year-old girl student of Don Bosco School, officials of the Yerawada police station informed the court on Friday that Vice-Principal Edigious Falcao was involved in similar cases in a Mumbai school, where he had worked a year ago.

Seeking extension for Falcao’s police custody, investigating officer PSI Reshma Mulani said, “Our team had gone to Don Bosco School in Mumbai where the suspect was working before he came to Pune. Our team discovered that there too he was involved in such cases.”
But Judicial Magistrate (First Class) S S Patil rejected the plea for extending Falcao’s police custody and remanded him in judicial custody. Falcao was sent to Yerawada Central Jail.
Opposing police demand for extending Falcao’s custody, his lawyer Harshad Nimbalkar said, “Falcao is in police custody since his arrest on January 21. Now, further custody is not required as investigation has been completed.” u00a0
