"If you have this pining, aching desire, that's part of the draw," said Banks.
Amelia McDonell-Parry, of TheFrisky.com and a self-proclaimed fan of vampire sex said: "There's an S&M, domination aspect that can be kind of violent, but in a mutually willing sort of way.
