After the Derby day record of Rs 1.41 crore jackpot, there is a strong likelihood that the jackpot figure will cross the magic Rs 1 crore mark again tomorrow. The Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC) have confirmed they will add Rs 40 lakh to the jackpot pool, and if past trends about the "added" amounts are any indication, punters from all over India are likely to pool in at least another Rs 60 lakh to take the total collection beyond the magic figure of Rs 1 crore.

The occasion will be the running of the grade 1, Poonawalla Breeders' Multi-Million (PBMM) race on Sunday. Eight colts and three fillies will line up for the richest race for juveniles, also popularly known as the "Juvenile Derby". An evening card of eight races is slated for tomorrow, with the first race to begin at 3.45 pm. The jackpot races are designated as the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th. Anyone who predicts the winners of all those five races will win the jackpot. Punters can buy as many tickets as they want, each five-horse combination costing only Rs 10.
There will also be a bumper prize (Honda Jazz car) for "free contest of skill". Entry in the contest if free, and a lucky one who correctly nominates the first four finishers in the feature race (PBMM) can win it.
