Kate Hudson, ex-girlfriend of Lance Armstrong and Alex Rodriguez, said that fans have the right to feel betrayed by the men's doping scandals.

Armstrong finally admitted in 2012 using performance enhancing drugs. He had his seven Tour de France titles stripped following his doping admission. Rodriguez remains on suspension from baseball for his involvement with a doctor, who allegedly prescribed the star and 12 other players human growth hormone.

The 35-year-old Almost Famous actress in an interview to InStyle magazine's July issue said: "I was as shocked as anyone. But I personally think that you make the choices you make and you should reap the consequences. People have a right to (feel betrayed).

Bad decisions
"Lance and Alex are phenomenal athletes who have made some bad choices and let a lot of people down. It's a decision they made for themselves and they've got to loathe it."

The actress dated Armstrong for several months in 2008 but split the following year. She was then linked to baseball star Alex Rodriguez, who was also known as A-Rod, and the pair dated for almost a year before calling it quits.
