After featuring in two back-to-back instalments of the 'Golmaal' series, Kareena Kapoor Khan will be missing in action from the fourth part, thanks to her pregnancy. But, director Rohit Shetty has found an apt replacement in Parineeti Chopra, who mirrors Kareena's spunk.

Parineeti is thrilled to be a part of the madhouse. "I was always cuckoo. No wonder they thought of me for this film," she laughs, adding, "No one can fill Kareena's shoes. She lent a different charm to the story. Having said that, no actor is capable of doing a lesser or better job than the other. Mine is a completely new character and won't have hangover of any of the previous films in the series."

That, in her opinion, is the series' biggest plus point. "I have been a fan of Golmaal movies. And after the last one, as a fan, I wondered where else can Rohit sir take this. After a point, it seems like there is little left to the story. To be able to create a better movie with each sequel is a challenge. I don't know many franchises, except Dhoom and Masti, which have upped the fun element each time.
As an actor, we tend to be greedy and want to do all kinds of movies. This is my chance to do a film which I would want to watch," she says. Ask her what she is expecting from the shoot, and she says, "I am expecting to have a blast. It is a Rohit Shetty set. I have heard so many stories about how he pampers his crew. I haven't had a chance to interact with Ajay (Devgn) sir yet because he was tied up with Shivaay, but I look forward to sharing screen space with him. Pretty much butterflies in my stomach sort of a feeling."

The actress starts prepping for the role under Rohit's guidance next month. "The film will go on floors by end of January 2017. Since the role is different from usual, it would require a good amount of prep work," she says.
