The Live theatre Broadway is now back in India. It's the only Broadway scale and style depiction of the Ramayan in India.

Actor Siddhant Issar is on cloud nice, after a successful USA tour of his live theatre Broadway show - Jai Shri Ram Ramayan - where he plays the titular role of Prabhu Shri Ram.
Coming back to India after several house full shows, Siddhant still remains astonished at the reception the show recieved. He says " Here in India people watch our show for Entertainment purpose. I mean it is the only Broadway based on Ramayan. On course We hear claps and cheers. But There it was not just Entertainment. Yes. People did applaud, cheer, clap and what not. but more over for them they brought their children and grandchildren to educate them about Indian Culture, values and Tradition. It was a very cute sight. seeing American Born Indian kids. jump on their seats out of excitement upon seeing hanuman jis entry. For them Ram Ji and Hanuman Ji were like Super God's. And Raavan was this super Villain. Really adorable response. We had live English commentary and also subtitles making some of our shows easier for smaller kids. After every show we stood for meet and greet sessions that lasted 2/3 hours. I felt because Indians abroad are deprived of it. they valued our culture and tradition, being exhibited on stage even more, than it its valued here in India. As a highlight of our show - when I perform a " Ram Shapath " which is a never seen before 15 minute monologue which Prabhu Shri Ram delivers .. the response to it was so high octane and energizing, that in some arenas people kept clapping and saying once more once more. minutes after the act ends also. Such craze has never been witnessed by our team in India also. People pointed out saying they had goosebumps and how they've never seen another actor hold fort for so long in a solo act before. I was touched. I am very impressed by the audience in the USA."

Interestingly his father, veteran actor Puneet Issar plays Raavan. Son of legendary Dara Singh - Vindu Dara Singh Plays Hanuman. TV actress Shilpa Raizada plays Mata Sita. Payal Goga Kapoor - Daughter of Goga Kapoor is Saroopnakha. And Ace Choreographer Rajeev Surti plays Mahadev Shiv Ji.
The Broadway will now be doing rounds all over India- Primarily in 2 and 3 tire cities. Where they perform open air shows in Maidans and Stadiums for thousands of people at once. Later this year - another North America Tour, Canada Tour, UK Tour and Australia Tour is lined up.
