"Panchayat" series is one of the most popular web series ever on the OTT platform.

Panchayat Season 3

At the inaugural ceremony of the Filmfare OTT Awards, the series won all the nominations under the Comedy Series category.

The fans of the "Panchayat" series were eagerly waiting for the release of "Panchayat" season 3. TVF and Amazon Prime Video’s creative campaign for "Panchayat" Season 3 used Laukis (bottle gourd) to unveil the launch date, creating a huge ripple among Indians.

Finally, "Panchayat" Season 3 is premiering exclusively on Amazon Prime Video from May 28, with dubs available in many languages for viewers.

Fans were eagerly waiting to see: Will Rinki and Abhishek Tripathi fall in love? Will Sachiv of Phulera be transferred? Will the Pradhan, deputy Pradhan, and Panchayat secretary teach the MLA a lesson for his rude behavior? Will the Pradhan election take place in Phulera, and will Manju Devi win again? What new trick will Bhushan play against the Pradhan? Will Bhushan be able to forge a bond with the local MLA against the Pradhan? Will Abhishek be able to clear his CAT exam? Will Prahlad slip into darkness after his only son is martyred?

Yes, the chemistry between Rinki and Abhishek is deepening, but they have not openly proposed. Still keen on getting that MBA, Abhishek has persuaded Rinku to apply too. Sachiv Abhishek Tripathi got transferred, but he came back again due to love and support from his Phuleria camaraderie. The deep bond among Prahlad, Vikas, and the Pradhan helped Prahlad come out of his grief. Bhushan has upped his ante against the Pradhan and deputy Pradhan and is ready to fight the Pradhan election in Phulera. Bhushan is able to rope in support of the local MLA against the Pradhan. There seems to be an open ego and opportunistic war between MLA and Pradhan supporters. But due to the conviction of the MLA, his power and reputation are dented. Manju Devi is now more involved with the Panchayat day-to-day affairs and appears very confident regarding how to tackle political chaos. The changes in Manju Devi and Rinki are shown as their natural progression. The same is the case with the Panchayat secretary, who gets way more involved in village politics.

Music by Anurag Saikia reflects the mood of the storyline. The background score is in sync with the emotional quotient of the plot. The songs and tunes make life in Phulera more lively.

People are loving the folk songs being played in the background, especially “Hind ke Sitara O Raja Ji,” a Bhojpuri folk song by Manoj Tiwary, a famous folk singer and BJP MP, and “Devaki ke kokh se janmal krishna kanhiya re,” a Maithili song sung and composed by Madhvi Madhukar Jha. "O Raja Ji" is composed by Anurag Saikia and produced by TVF. The lyricist of "Devaki ke kokh" is Shiv Kumar Jha Tillu, and it is sung by Madhvi Madhukar, a famous Sanskrit singer. Madhvi Madhukar’s stotra usually gets telecast on Doordarshan National and All India Radio.

The understated charm and high drama in mundane village scenarios have been the show’s highlights. The fictitious Uttar Pradesh village of Phulera is now an akhada of competing ambitions and rivalry. Gangs are formed, and sides are taken. "Panchayat" has maintained the same hype and hoopla, though with a steady two-year gap between seasons since its premiere on Prime Video in 2020. An enjoyable mix of trivialities, a deep understanding of village nuances and aura, rural humor and enmity, and charming performances catapulted the TVF show created by Chandan Kumar, Deepak Kumar Mishra, and Arunabh Kumar to popularity.

Produced by TVF (The Viral Fever by Arunabh Kumar), directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, and written by Chandan Kumar, the new "Panchayat" season 3 delivers the same charm and wit that viewers have come to love, with an ensemble cast that includes Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, and more.

The director ensured that fans are now more curious to watch the next "Panchayat" Season 4, where the MLA by-election and the Panchayat election of Phulera are due.
