Director Pavan Kripalani arranged for a unique kind of workshop for some of the cast members of his upcoming horror film 'Darr @ The Mall' .

He actually cooped them up in a dark room for almost 10 hours, with no cellphone or books.
All they were given was food and a performance coach would scare them with sudden noises or appearances.
The purpose apparently was to get them face fear and claustrophobia, so that they would know how to give the right expressions. Extreme step, we say.
