Marriage is in the offing for Imran Khan and fiancee Avantika. The two will tie the knot in Thailand

According to industry sources, Imran Khan and his fiancee will tie the knot in Thailand in January next year exactly a year after they got engaged. Says a source, "The wedding details got finalised recently."

There was talk of a wedding a few monthsu00a0 ago, but the actor had denied it. He was busy shooting for his films and made it clear that he wanted to get married at a time when he was free from his work commitments, so he could plan and enjoy the most important day in his life. Buzz is, he has now decided on a date and the venue.

Kab, kahaan...

It is learnt that Imran and Avantika will get married in Thailand at an exclusive palatial resort somewhere near Koh Samui.



The exact date is still under consideration but the wedding will happen in January. Close friends and family will fly out for the shaadi.

The actor has requested producer Karan Johar to adjust his January dates for Short Term Shaadi, a film he stars in with Kareena Kapoor, so that he can get married.

IK and his to-be biwi have been dating almost six years now. They got 'ringed' on January 16 this year at a farmhouse owned by his fiancee's family in Karjat.

It was a quiet family affair attended byu00a0 the Khan clan including Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao.

Imran's releases in 2011 include Kunal Kohli's Break Ke Baad, YRF's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Karan Johar's Short Term Shaadi and Aamir Khan's Delhi Belly.
