Music for the soul

The 13th death anniversary of Hindustani classical vocalist Pandit CR Vyas celebrated the glorious traditions of Indian classical music as Kishori Amonkar, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Pandit Satish Vyas and percussionist Trilok Gurtu put forth some melodious performances at a venue in SoBo. Other reputed musicians who regaled the audience were Dr Prabha Atre, vocalists Pandit Rajan and Sajan Mishra and sitar maestro Nayan Ghosh. Fazal Qureshi and Suresh Talwalkar were also spotted at the concert.
