Shah Rukh Khan will feature in a new commercial for a chyawanprash brand with Bengali actress Rituparna Sengupta. It is being shot at Film City today.
He plays a common man in the commercial while Rituparna plays his wife. What keeps them and their relationship strong is the chyawanprash.
Special shoot
The ad film is being directed by Ram Madhvani of Equinox Films and will be on air October-end.
Says Rituparna, "I have done ad films before but this one is special as it involves Shah Rukh Khan. I am excited and am looking forward to the shoot."
The actress had earlier endorsed the brand in ads for the eastern region. She also features in a hair oil brand.
Past connect
Rituparna earlier interacted with SRK during the Indian Premier League 2008 matches. "He had invited me for a match at Eden Gardens. We had also attended a thalassemia society programme together in Kolkata.
The actress is shooting for her Bengali films in Kolkata and will fly down especially for the shoot. On the B-Town front, she will also be seen in Priyadarshan's film starring Akshaye Khanna, Ajay Devgn and Bipasha Basu.
