Sonam Kapoor is dating her I Hate Luv Storys director Punit Malhotra. And all's not well. This relationship is causing stress for both involved because mixing business and pleasure is not as easy or fun as it sounds.



Distractions
The first-time director is finding it difficult to concentrate on his film, given the distraction of his ladylove around, and the lectures by his uncle Manish Malhotra and producer Karan Johar to "concentrate only on his work" aren't helping.



Meanwhile, like any 20-plus girl in the throes of love, Sonam is finding it difficult to relate to her boyfriend, who also happens to be the boss on the set. The arguments and fights keep happening between the young lovers, who hit it off instantly as they were both single and compatible as they discovered at the very first meeting.

The crew of the film is aware of the closeness between Sonam and Punit. A khabru from the sets reveals, "The relationship is rather new, and at this early stage, tiffs are normal. In fact, Imran keeps teasing her about it all the time."

The two bonded and became serious during their New Zealand schedule. The source continues, "Punit was constantly taking Sonam's photos and telling her how gorgeous she looked. Whenever they weren't shooting, the two would go out and try new places for dinner. In fact, Sonam even told her sister Rhea about Punit."u00a0

u00a0Punit who's a protege of Dharma Productions has assisted Karan on several films in the past. It is learnt that Karan is well aware of their budding romance, and has even reprimanded Punit on a few occasions. Sonam is very moody and her state of mind has been apparent in her recent Twitter messages. She even cancelled going to an award function because of her fight with Punit."u00a0
