Filmmaker Karan Johar, otherwise known for his jovial and friendly nature, has hit back at people making comments on his personal life on microblogging site Twitter.

"While most tweets are objective, frank and warm... the ones that are constantly making tactless statements about my personal life are upsetting," Karan wrote.

"Block them on your twitter account, they are haters who are just jealous," she wrote.

Right now he is busy completing his untitled film with Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal. The movie is an adaptation of Chris Columbus' 1998 movie "Stepmom".

Karan is also expected to start shooting for the "Dostana" sequel with Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham this summer.
