The great escape
Shooting for the film was a fantastic experience, as the director, Rajesh Ransinghe exactly knew what he wanted from us. Moreover, I didn't have to wear makeup for the film, which was great. Rokkk was the most accident prone film for me.
I chipped my tooth in one scene, where I was tied to a harness and bruised myself in a jeep stunt. I almost got killed on the sets when a branch fell on me. I was chatting on the phone when I heard people screaming out my name. Before I could understand what was happening, this huge branch fell on me. Thankfully, I got into a bifurcated space between branches and escaped.
The shooting was indeed scary. I do enjoy watching horror films, but with my ears shut. I find the background scores sometimes scary. I loved the Grudge series. Movies that have an eerie feel to them are more appealing than the ones with blood and gore.
Right here waiting
Well, I keep getting lots of offers for multi-starrer films but I don't want to take up such roles. One song and a couple of scenes aren't enough to showcase your potential. I want to take my time, and do films which increase my chances of bagging better roles. Money is not an issue for me. I draw enough from my shows and guest appearances.u00a0
Hot, not me
Post films like Paap and Zeher, people felt that I was very glamourous and sexy. But I am not at all a glamour-conscious person. I hardly attend parties or socialise in film circles. I am a very laidback girl. In fact, I don't even feel at home in Mumbai, as I still prefer the quiet life of Dehradun or Rishikesh.
My next film is Chase, which is directed by Jagmohan Mundra. It is a thriller. I am also making a special appearance in Sunny Deol's The Man. I was pretty awestruck on the first day of the shoot as Sunny is someone I grew up watching. He is a very quiet and serious person. On the other hand, Jagmohan is very chilled out and laidback. I hardly heard him shout at anyone during the shoot of Chase.
