About Thama

Thama unfolds across two timelines: Ayushmann Khurrana plays a historian Arun, researching the origins of vampires in Indian folklore, while the parallel narrative transports viewers to the ancient city of Vijayanagar. The report further stated that the story is tied together by an unfulfilled love from the past.

The film is the latest addition to the on-screen universe that includes the feminist comedy Stree, the werewolf comedy Bhediya (2022), and Munjya (2023), which draws from a folk story in the Konkan region.
