BTS member Jungkook to end the year with release of solo album

BTS member Jungkook recently announced that he will soon be dropping his solo album

BTS member Jungkook recently revealed that he will be treating fans to a solo album soon.The singer is currently enjoying the success of the release of back-to-back singles. His last single titled 3D featuring Jack Harlow was released recently and received a positive response. Prior to 3D, he had released the track Seven with American rapper Latto.

While there are just three months left for the year to end, Jungkook is far from done with treating his fans with his art. In an interview with Audacy, Jungkook shared insight into his 2023 plans.  announced the news of his awaited yet untitled album. When the host asked him, “What is next for you looking to the end of 2023?” he told Audacy, “My solo album... My solo album is on its way.

However, this is not the first time that Jungkook has mentioned his album on a public platform. Previously, while talking on Suga's drinking show, Suchwita, he had said, "After the single, I have another single. And then I'll be releasing a small mini album by November.”

BTS ARMY is already thrilled with the announcement and cannot wait for the album to drop. "It's gonna shake the industry, " wrote a fan taking to X.  “OMG. All hands on deck. Army so excited 2 songs and we are so happy shocked and what not . An album. Can’t wait what new surprises we will have for different songs,” posted yet another.

Meanwhile, Jungkook's latest single, 3D, is a peppy song with catchy lyrics and music. Jungkook collaborated with Jack Harlow who is also seen in the video. Talking about the song, he had said, "I can show you a different and intriguing facet of my musical charm through 3D, which stands apart from Seven." 3D begins with Jungkook singing inside a telephone booth. He then does a street-style dance with background dancers. Jack Harlow joins him too and raps. In one of the shots from the music video, they play a game of chess at a roadside cafe. JK dances in the rain too. 

The press release for 3D read, "3D is an R&B pop song with a minimalist musical composition. It has a mid-2000s hip-hop vibe to it. Its rhythm and catchy repeated sounds paired with Jungkook's captivating vocals make it a must-listen. The song sends out a message that he wants to interact with 'you' beyond the two dimensions and blend into 'our' three-dimensional world.
