A new peek at BTS' SUGA's humanitarian plans has emerged. The multi-million facility, named the Min Yoongi Treatment Centre, uses the singer's true, romanised name rather than his actual name conversion of 'Min Yunki'. Fans speculated that the moniker was chosen because it is recognisable to the BTS ARMY and will help them recognise it. The singer's desire has become a reality with this next step.
SUGA made a major investment
"Min Yoongi Treatment Centre. Centre for the MIND program, since 2025," is carved on the wall, followed by the hospital's emblem. According to rumours, the BTS member invested a massive 5 billion KRW, around Rs 31 crore, in the Seoul branch of the renowned hospital chain.
Previously, it was discovered that SUGA had frequently met and hung out with children on the autism spectrum before deciding to create his own medical centre with a large donation. He would grab a guitar and go incognito to hang out with the kids who just knew him as Prof. Min, not the world-famous BTS member SUGA. It aims to help children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) by incorporating music into their lives.
The treatment center would implement the MIND program, which stands for Music, Interaction, Network, and Diversity, a group social skills concept designed to assist persons on the autism spectrum in developing their social skills.
The rapper is thought to have undergone treatment for his appendicitis at the Severance Hospital and was able to treat himself. Following this, the star disclosed that the immensely popular BTS tune Just One Day was composed while in the hospital and has since become a fan favourite. Finally, the medical centre's Pediatric Psychiatry Department helped the celebrity realise his dream of building the therapeutic zone.
Now, SUGA has built its own branch in partnership with the hospital, hoping to treat individuals using its resources.
SUGA recently returned to Instagram
In August 2022, SUGA posted on his personal Weverse account to say goodbye to his supporters before heading for military duty. He told them that a few years would pass fast, and he would be back before they knew it. The time has arrived for the singer to make his triumphant return. He also appears to be hinting at something new in images, which show him at a shoot clutching a guitar and standing on a trolley.
