Still from Rubaroo
The makers of the upcoming film Dacoit – Ek Prem Katha have unveiled the romantic track Rubaroo, offering a glimpse into the emotional core of the film ahead of its theatrical release on April 10, 2026.
Rubaroo song out
Love takes centre stage in Rubaroo, a soulful number that captures the innocence and intensity of first love. Featuring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, the song traces a tender chapter in the protagonist’s life before he became a dacoit, he was a lover.
The track is sung by Faheem Abdullah and Chinmayi Sripada, with lyrics by Ritesh Rajwada and music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo. Designed as a stirring love anthem, Rubaroo blends vulnerability with emotional depth.
Speaking about the recording, Faheem Abdullah said he felt like he was stepping into “someone’s most vulnerable memory of love,” highlighting the tenderness embedded in the melody. Chinmayi Sripada added that rendering the song in two languages required honouring not just the lyrics but also the emotional rhythm unique to each version.
Adivi Sesh shared that music remains one of the purest mediums to express emotion, and described Rubaroo as a portrayal of honest and vulnerable love. Mrunal Thakur echoed the sentiment, noting that the song beautifully captures the purity of first love without being overly dramatic.
