Actor Kunj Anand, known for his powerful performances in acclaimed projects like Your Honor, Crashh, Mumbai Diaries, Faadu, and Pill, has now taken a new leap in his career by joining the iconic television show  Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 2, portraying the character Nitin.

His experience on shooting on a TV set

Recalling his very first day on the set, Kunj shared, “It was a completely new experience for me. The energy on the set is very different—there’s a certain pace and spontaneity that keeps you on your toes.”

Comparing the medium with his previous work in OTT and films, he added, “In OTT and films, you get a lot of time to prepare, rehearse, and experiment with your character. Television is more fast-paced; you have to adapt instantly while still delivering your best. It pushes you as an actor to be more instinctive and sharp in your performance.”

Fans reaction to his character

On being asked about the audience feedback, he says, "The audience is loving the camaraderie in my on-screen family, and I’m enjoying their curiosity for the next episode. Their excitement keeps me going,” he adds with a smile.

With his effortless charm and a strong portfolio across OTT and films, Kunj Anand’s presence in the show is surely making the fans wait to see what’s next.

With the current track in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Vrinda and her dada's lives are in danger as they get trapped in an accident controversy. While Vrinda tries to save Tulsi's son, the culprit comes to know the truth and threatens Vrinda and her family. He even demands that they return the money, as the work he had asked them to do isn't done.

In the recent episode, Tulsi shares a tender farewell moment with her on-screen daughter, capturing the essence of a mother’s mixed emotions, joy for her child’s new journey, and the bittersweet pain of parting. Smiti’s performance, layered with authenticity and warmth, stood out as a testament to her enduring connection with the character she has played for decades.
