Actor Vibhu Raghave, best known for his role in the popular television show Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, has passed away. He fought a long and difficult battle with stage 4 neuroendocrine colon cancer. Vibhu breathed his last on June 2, leaving behind memories of his powerful performances on screen. The actor was undergoing treatment at Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital. He was diagnosed with cancer in February, 2022 and revealed the information through his Instagram account.
Vibhu's battle with cancer
Reportedly, Vibhu had been fighting cancer for the past three years. Earlier this year, in January, while undergoing chemotherapy, he had shared a video from his hospital bed. In the video, Vibhu spoke about the rapid progression of his disease, revealing that the cancer had spread to multiple organs including his liver, spine, bones, and lungs. However, despite his critical health condition, Vibhu remained hopeful and bravely battled the disease.
"It was shocking. I was worried for a few days… but the only treatment right now is chemotherapy. Everything is going good now. Chemotherapy will shrink it," he had said.

Funeral on June 3
Actress Simple Kaul took to her Instagram feed to share the heartbreaking news of the demise of her dear friend Vibhu.
She wrote,"With a heavy heart we would like to inform our near and dear ones that our beloved friend Vibhu @vibhuzinsta left us today 🙏 Please pray for his journey ahead. Love & Light! Om Namah Shivaya."
A note shared by Simple Kaul, Addite Malik, and other close friends of Vibhu read, "The purest soul, a beacon of strength & positivity. His smile could light up any room & his presence alone made everything feel better. He faced life with unmatched grace & left behind a love that will never fade. He will be deeply missed. Always."

Taking to her Instagram stories, Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke fame Kaveri Priyam expressed her grief. Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra also offered his condolences.
The antim darshan (last viewing) will be held on June 3 from 12:30 PM onwards, followed by the funeral procession at 1 PM, from 11, Relief Road, Prakash Nagar, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai.
