A prayer meet for late actor Satish Shah was held today at Jalaram Hall in Juhu, Mumbai. Family, friends, and members of the film fraternity were seen attenting the meet to pay their respects and remember the beloved actor. Amid the prayer meet, videos of his wife Madhu Shah, have emerged online showing her in deep grief.

In a video that surfaced on social media, his wife Madhu Shah was seen devastated, as she took support from others to walk and arrive at the venue. Satish Sha died from kidney failure at the age of 74, on Saturday, October 25.

On Monday, October 27, the Shraddhanjali Kriya (prayer meet) was held from 5.30 to 7.30 pm, which witnessed sincere attendance from all over the industry.
Several well-known figures from the entertainment industry gathered for the prayer meeting to express their condolences and pay homage to the actor's extraordinary life. David Dhawan, Johnny Lever, Sumeet Raghavan, Rupali Ganguly, Shabana Azmi, Tanvi Azmi, Sonu Nigam, Shatrughan Sinha, and several others were among those seen.
Satish Shah wanted to live for his wife
Earlier, actor Sachin Pilgaonkar had opened up about his late friend Satish Shah. Speaking with News18, Sachin revealed, "Unfortunately, even Madhu isn’t well. She has Alzheimer’s. This year, Satish got his kidney transplanted. He wanted to extend his wife so that he could take care of Madhu. He was on dialysis. Earlier, he underwent a bypass surgery, which was successful."
Sachin also shared that his wife, Supriya Pilgaonkar, had met Satish at his home just three days before his death. The actor revealed that he and Satish would keep exchanging texts. "In fact, I received a message from him at 12:56 pm today, which means that he was absolutely fine even at that time. That I’m in shock is an understatement. Industry ka loss toh hua hi aur woh baat alag hai (It's not only industry's loss), it’s a very, very big personal loss to me," Sachin shared.
Satish Shah tied the knot with Madhu in 1972. The couple continued to support and stand by each other through thick and thin throughout these years.
