From a dynamic line-up of celebrated designers to bold new talent, and visionary collaborations, Lakme Fashion Week is set to make its return to Delhi promising a runway that blends tradition with immersive experiences.
Earlier this year, the Mumbai edition kicked off the platform’s silver-jubilee celebrations. The spotlight now shifts to the capital, where the next showcase is set to unfold in New Delhi. With its bi-annual format in Mumbai and New Delhi, the platform has been instrumental in shaping India’s fashion narrative both across the country and globally.
Spanning four days, from October 9-12, the event brings together celebrated names and next-gen talent. Here is all you need to know about it:
The showcase opens on October 9 with NIF Global’s ‘The Runway’, setting a global tone, followed by exciting collaborations like Enamor x Papa Don’t Preach and Mothercare x Gauri & Nainika.
The bi-annual fashion week in partnership with Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) also spotlights innovation and new talent through GenNext designers Anam Husain, Gaach, and 23°N 69°E, while veterans like Abraham & Thakore, Pankaj & Nidhi, and Suneet Varma who bring their signature elegance.
Designer Ashish N Soni will also present his much-anticipated showcase, The Soirée at the Grand Budapest Hotel. The collection envisions evening wear through sculptural silhouettes, precise tailoring, and innovative fabric technologies, setting the stage for one of the season’s most exciting highlights.
The House of Lakmē Grand Finale will close the season, on October 12 with a spectacular showcase by Tarun Tahiliani, whose signature blend of luxury and modernity defines Indian couture.
Sunil Sethi, Chairman, FDCI, shares "As Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI marks another milestone in Delhi, we remain committed to championing creativity and innovation while advancing the business of fashion. This season reflects the diversity of Indian design, and through every initiative, we aim to inspire, connect, and create meaningful opportunities for the industry’s future.”
