Nitesh Tiwari launches Author Satyam Srivastava's book 'The Wielder of The Trishul'

Director Nitesh Tiwari who is known for his superhit films Chillar Party, Dangal and Chhichhore, yesterday launched the book titled 'The Wielder Of The Trishul' written by Satyam Srivastva. The book is based on mythology and is available in English, Hindi and Marathi.

At the book launch, the director spoke about the author Satyam and his writing. He said, "I am usually not the type of person who goes out to public forums but Satyam's book launch attracted me for three main reasons. First is our IIT Bombay connection, Second is he spent one year at my hostel and third is my love for mythology."

He further said,"I read the first two chapters of the book and it got me hooked. Satyam has very beautifully created a fictional world and smartly kept the elements of the mythology. So there is a sense of recognition. The first few chapters got me hooked to the book so much that I decided to finish this book."





Satyam Srivastava whose previous book 'Neelkanth:Truth,Lies, Deceit & Murder' was loved by the audience spoke about his writing and said, "I love to keep my writing simple and which is easily understandable. I don't like those writing where the author uses flowery language and the readers are not able to comprehend the writing. "

Talking about his book 'The Wielder Of The Trishul' , Satyam said,"This book is about Indra and Vritra. What I love about Indian mythology is our heros and villains, both are very strong characters. This book is the story of Indra and Vritra. You must be knowing this story but I am sure you must be knowing this is the story of Indra and Vritra."

The book is available in English ,Hindi and Marathi. Talking about the sane, Satyam said, "A story like this will appeal the hindi audience more. That is the reason I have got it translated in Hindi and Marathi so that it reaches more people."

Talking about how he deals with good and bad reviews for his books, Satyam answered,"I think bad reviews are important because you can improve your writing and good reviews motivate you."
