An aggregator cab driver was arrested on Thursday for allegedly molesting a 22-year-old student, a Mumbai Police official said, reported the PTI.
The suspect was identified as Anish Ashiq Ali Sheikh (29), a police official said.
The official further said that the suspect allegedly molested the woman at Vakola in Santacruz 10 days ago when she was travelling from Prabhat Colony to Golibar Naka and was on the run since then, the official added.
"He touched her inappropriately during the ride. The victim, who was in shock, told her kin about her ordeal some days later, after which a case was registered at Vakola police station. As the accused did not have a permanent residential address, it was tough to nab him. With the help of technical inputs, he was finally held by Crime Branch from Jogeshwari East," the official said, according to the PTI.

Man held for recording videos of women in toilet in south Mumbai's Bhuleshwar area
Meanwhile, in an another incident, a 19-year-old man was arrested for allegedly recording videos of women in a public toilet in Bhuleshwar area of south Mumbai, a police official said on Thursday, as per the PTI.
The incident took place on Wednesday evening at a residential building on the Atmaram Merchant Road under the Lokmanya Tilak Marg (LT Marg) police station limits in south Mumbai, the official said.
"A woman who had gone to the toilet with a girl noticed someone recording videos and informed personnel seated in a police vehicle nearby. A team rushed to the site and apprehended Rajankumar Choupal, who is a waiter in a hotel in the vicinity," he said, according to the PTI.
"The victim refused to lodge a case, but Choupal was charged under section 77 (voyeurism) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and section 12 (sexual harassment) of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) act on the complaint of a police personnel. Choupal has been arrested," the official informed, the news agency reported on Thursday.
