Two auto rickshaws caught fire in a freak accident at Radharam petrol pump in Bhandup yesterday.
According to firemen present at the spot, one of the rickshaws went up in flames, following which the one right behind it also caught fire.

The drivrs of both the three-wheelers, Pravesh Suvarna and Santosh Varang, and the gas attendant, Pappu Upadhya, were injured. 
Almost immediately, three fire tenders and an ambulance rushed to the spot to douse the blaze.
A fire brigade official said, "When we reached the spot, the fire was not raging but was easily controllable. It could have been dangerous as the flared out at a petrol pump.

The injured have been rushed to nearby hospitals."
Senior Inspector Shrirang Vyasrao Nadgauda of the Bhandup police said that Santosh and Pappu had been discharged from the hospital but Pravesh, still admitted, has 15 per cent burn injuries.
