The local train services on Central Railway took a hit due to a derailment near CST station. The 11301 CST-Bengaluru Udyan Express derailed soon after it left CST railway station

The local train services on Central Railway took a hit due to a derailment near CST station. The 11301 CST-Bengaluru Udyan Express derailed soon after it left CST railway station.

Officials said that two wheel trolleys of the engine derailed between CST and Masjid railway stations at 8.14 am. "The train had left platform 17 and when it reached the 'X-over' point, it derailed. There is no injury to passengers," said a CR official.

Due to this both Up and Down fast locals were diverted on the slow line between CST and Byculla. This has led to bunching of trains right till Currey Road as trains are lined up one behind the other and are running late by 15 minutes
