In keeping with its usual trend, Mumbai witnessed almost the same voting percentage as the previous elections. The final voting percentage increased by 2 per cent after recounting, adding postal ballots, and including people who cast their votes after 6 pm on Monday. According to the Election Commission of India, Mumbai recorded a turnout of 52.27 per cent on Monday, which improved to 53.98 per cent after recounting on Tuesday. This is slightly lower than in 2019, when the voting percentage was 55.38. The trend is similar to the last time in many ways, including higher turnout in the North constituency and lower turnout in the South constituency.
