A 35-year-old woman allegedly died by suicide by jumping from the third floor of a building in Juhu on Tuesday night. The woman had an affair with a police constable attached to Mumbai police. The Juhu police registered the Accidental Death Report (ADR) into the matter and started an investigation.
The deceased has been identified as Binu Vishwakarma (35), a resident of Basera Building at Juhu at Andheri West. Police said Vishwakarma was residing with a police constable and her 14-year-old son. The deceased Vishwakarma was working as a nurse in a private hospital.

According to the police official, the incident took place on Tuesday night at around 10 pm. The woman, Binu Vishwakarma, was at home and her live-in partner police constable had left home for his night duty.
Vishwakarma was residing on the third floor. She locked the main door from inside and jumped from the third floor of the residence.
The society security guard heard a loud noise and he rushed to the spot and found Vishwakarma's body lying on the floor. He informed the society members and the Juhu police. Police rushed to the spot and took Vishwakarma to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead.
A police officer said, "Vishwakarma separated from her husband 10 years ago and had a 14-year-old son with her husband. Later she fell in love with the police constable who is attached to the Mumbai police."
A police officer said, "We have sent the body for postmortem and registered an ADR into the matter. We didn't find any suspicious activity. This is clear suicide as the door was closed from the inside. We will also call the police constable who was in an affair with this woman."
