The educator, in his anticipatory bail plea, claimed the FIR was registered with an unexplained delay of five days.

In the Powai bus accident involving route 307, BEST in an official statement said that the injured bike rider was not struck by the bus. “His bike skidded and fell beside the bus, prompting the public to stop the vehicle. The rider was taken to Hiranandani Hospital by the driver and conductor, and the matter was reported at Powai Police Station. No case has been registered against BEST staff, and the bus then continued on its route,” the statement said.
