A month after successful launching of its ambitious first e-court to avoid cumbersome paperwork, the Delhi High Court is likely to start the second e-court today.
This time, the court of Justice S Muralidhar would go into the digital mode with the help of state-of-the-art gadgets. A sleek wide LCD screen was put up on the wall and a touch screen replacing bulky files was installed on Thursday evening in the court no 13 for display of the files and documents.
Earlier, the court of Justice Ravindra Bhat has gone digital and till the date it has been functioning with all electronic gadgets without any glitch causing inconvenience to the judge, court staffu00a0 as well as the lawyers and litigants. For the success of the project, the court has already digitalised around 5.5 crore papers pertaining to various cases.
