As the name implies Pride of Hyderabad specialised in Hyderabadi food although they have been serving Iftar food over the last two years. The Ambedkar Hall is usually lent out for marriages but during the Ramzan month it is converted into an eatery with open tables and chairs for people to sit and enjoy the food.u00a0 The owner Sharif Sheik has been providing meals at this time for the past 9 years, but shifted to this venue, only two years ago. Salman Sheikh, manager, says,u00a0 "People come for food till 1 am, so we are busy till early morning. There is a seating arrangement for families upstairs."

Food is serious business here. "Our cooks are called ustads, who learn cooking the hard way and take years to master their craft," says Farid.
