Pride of Hyderabad
As the name implies Pride of Hyderabad specialised in Hyderabadi food although they have been serving Iftar food over the last two years. Owner Feroz Akhtar, adds that the restaurant does not serve beef, only mutton and chicken.u00a0 Their specialties are the Halim and kababs. They also serve seafood during weekends. Drop in for Chicken Samosa (Rs 20), Mutton Samosa (Rs 20), Tandoori Chicken (Rs 160 and Rs 90) and for desserts Gajar ka Halwa (Rs 50) and Qubani ka Meetha (Rs 50). If you're into seafood as well try their, Tandoori Fish (Rs 200 ) or Fish Fry (Rs 20). But what's their Ramzan bestseller? Hyderabadi Dum Biryani which is priced at Rs 700 per kg if with chicken and Rs 800 per kg if with mutton.u00a0

Sharif Caterers
The Ambedkar Hall is usually lent out for marriages but during the Ramzan month it is converted into an eatery with open tables and chairs for people to sit and enjoy the food.u00a0 The owner Sharif Sheik has been providing meals at this time for the past 9 years, but shifted to this venue, only two years ago. Salman Sheikh, manager, says,u00a0 "People come for food till 1 am, so we are busy till early morning. There is a seating arrangement for families upstairs."

Drop by for Mutton Samosas (Rs 15), Beefu00a0 Samosas (Rs 8), Beef Khari Gosht (Rs 20), Keema Pattice (Rs 15), Chicken Kabab (Rs 15), Chicken Leg (Rs 50) and Chicken Stick (Rs 20). They also serve other popular dishes like Chicken Tikka (Rs 120), Tandoori Chicken (Rs 220) and Kesar Firniu00a0 (Rs 40).u00a0

Majlis
Though just four-month-old this joint has already gained popularity. Claims owner Md Shafiq Rangooni, who also owns The Green Villa in Koregaon Park, "Our specialty is that we don't serve beef here." Food is serious business here. "Our cooks are called ustads, who learn cooking the hard way and take years to master their craft," says Farid. Their specialties are Special Malpua (Rs 70, Rs 50 and Rs 35), Maida Roti with mutton filling (Rs 70) and Chicken Shawarma (Rs 60).

If you really want to get here before the food gets sold out, 4.30 pm is the ideal time to drop by. Their other specialties include Mutton Samosa (Rs 15), Chicken Samosa (Rs 12) andu00a0 Russian Kabab (Rs 15).
