Their first ever gig was supporting Iron Maiden in Bangalore in 2009. Now British band Cyanide Serenity is back again to grace the city where it all began with a night of heavy metal madness
Cyanide Serenity are playing in four cities on their upcoming Consuming India tour, starting in Bangalore, the city where they played alongside rock gods Iron Maiden back in 2009.

That gig was "Amazing!" according to guitarist Gaz Braddock, who adds, "To play in front of so many people was a mind blowing experience. If someone had told us when we started, that our first gig would be in India with Iron Maiden we would have said they were mad."
The band is all psyched to be playing in India again. "The crowds in India are insane. They're so much more responsive to the stage shows. You'll see bodies just running and flying everywhere," says vocalist Matt McKay, adding, "It's clear that India loves heavy music and is good at it too. We're very proud to be a part of India's music scene."
The band has been working on their first album, Consume Me, which is due for release early 2011. "Each member has their own influences and ideas," Gaz says, "but we are all drawn to the more technical side of the Metal genre."
"The album is going to be very heavy, very thrashy, and have some catchy lyrics too," says Matt. Cyanide Serenity are playing at the energetic Kyra this Saturday night, with supporting acts Abandoned Agony from Bangalore and 1833 from Delhi.
