Attend: Walk down history lane
The best way to discover a place is by walking. Though most cities hardly have that much space to offer, those that do are a delight. Here's a chance to discover the rich heritage of Delhi with this trail down Mehrauli Archeological Park which houses remnants of a legacy that started in 1060 AD by the Tomar Rajputs.
The walk then moves to sites built by the numerous dynasties -- from Balban's tomb to the famous Jamali Kamali mosque and the massive Rajon ki Baoli. The trip will give you a peek into the soul-stirring ruins of Delhi's past. The walk will be led by Kanika Singh from Delhi Heritage Walks and a history scholar who knows the ruins inside out.
At Mehrauli Archaeological Park, Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road
When December 19, 10 am to 12 pm
