Despite being a few yards from spot of April 17 blasts, the Metro coach exhibit site that is attracting thousands of visitors has no security

What should, however, give the authorities cause for worry is that the display site, which is a few yards away from the April 17 bomb blast spot, is very poorly guarded.

The Metro coach that has been placed at one end of the MG Road has even obstructs free vehicular movement.

There is not a single armed guard on the spot, and cops and metal detectors are conspicuous by their absence.

The coach, which has been placed at one end of MG Road, has also become a problem for free vehicular movement.

With the number of curious visitors increasing, the traffic situation could even worsen in the days to come.

Ruling out any possible threat, BMRCL PRO Yashavanth Chavan said, "The crowds were thicker over the weekend.

The couple of private security guards placed there to monitor the crowd should be sufficient. Cops will guard the site at night and a few traffic cops have been deployed to manage traffic at the site.
