The source said that two years ago, he used this guise to lure one of his disciples, to perform oral sex on him, saying that she was his real devi and she was fortunate to receive his special blessings in private.
Sex for 'humanity'
Claiming that he was the incarnation of a god, Nithyananda used to 'slip' into samadhi often. He claimed that he wanted to do many great things for humanity, and that being in that state often would make him detach his soul from his body. By being physically intimate with a female, he would get his soul back in the body.
He also assured the disciples that they were not only helping him restore his soul back in his body, but also doing a great service to mankind.
Later, he announced during the Jayanthi celebrations that he was going to live for 125 years, and even thanked a disciple for her 'service' that had "helped his soul to settle in his body for such a long time."
CID officials found that Nithyananda used to celebrate the entire month of December as his 'birthday month'.
"On one such occasion, Nithyananda invited one of his disciples to his room on December 31, 2008 and had sex with her. Citing metaphysical gibberish, Nithyananda claimed that he was in samadhi most of the time, and by doing so, he would get his consciousness back to his body," said a source.
CID officials have maintained the witness' identity anonymous, as they fearu00a0 the swami's fraternity might intimidate them .
