Chennai: The police yesterday arrested two people for spreading rumours about Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa’s health on social media. Satish Kumar and Madasamy were taken into custody with an intent to create panic among the public following a complaint from the ruling AIADMK party’s IT secretary.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu sent Tirupati temple’s ‘prasadam’ to Jayalalithaa yesterday. BJP leaders Amit Shah and Arun Jaitley are likely to visit her in the hospital today.
