Amid heavy rains and floods across Maharashtra, many students were unable to register for the BSc Nursing admission round. To accommodate them, the Indian Nursing Council has extended the overall cut-off date for admission to October 31. Additionally, the Common Entrance Test (CET) cell has provided another opportunity for students who missed the registration, extending the deadline to October 5.
Changes in eligibility criteria
To allow more students to pursue BSc Nursing, the council has revised the eligibility criteria.
The earlier requirement of securing at least 50 percentile in MH-CET has been removed. This relaxation will enable a larger pool of interested students to apply for admission for the academic year 2025-2026.
Students who have appeared for this year's MH-Nursing CET remain eligible for admission.
Those who could not apply earlier due to the 50 percentile requirement can now register at www.mahacet.org. Students with incomplete registrations can also complete the process before the new deadline.
