A man was arrested for allegedly raping a woman on a false promise of marriage and forcing her to convert her religion in Maharashtra's Latur city, police said on Friday.

The police on Thursday arrested Arafat Laik Khan (32), a resident of Zinganappa lane area of the city, deputy superintendent of police Jitendra Jagdale said.
