Defence Expert KP Fabian has rejected The Guardian’s report and echoed MEA’s statement. However, he said that The Guardian’s report will benefit the ruling BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.

Indian Army on the Hunt: Operation Intensifies in Rajouri to Eliminate Terrorist

In a major terror attack, terrorists ambushed an army convoy in J&K’s Rajouri on Dec 21. Four army personnel were killed in action while three others were injured in the terror attack. The terrorists ambushed two army vehicles carrying troops in Thanamandi, Rajouri. The fierce encounter broke out on Dec 21 after a joint search operation was launched on Dec 20 by security forces. Meanwhile, security personnel carried out a search operation in the forest area of Dera ki Gali in Rajouri on Dec 22. Indian Army is using choppers to keep eagles' eye on the rough terrain. Indian Army's White Knight Corps said it salutes the bravery and supreme sacrifice of four soldiers.

Israel-Hamas Conflict: Israeli forces eliminate top Hamas commander in airstrike

Amid the Israel-Hamas conflict, the Israeli Air Force eliminated the head of the anti-tank system of the militant group on Nov 01. The commander, identified as Muhammad Atzar, was killed under the direction of Israeli security agency Shin Bet. Muhammad Atzar was responsible for all the anti-tank systems in the various brigades in the Gaza Strip. He managed the force on a routine basis and assisted in its activation in an emergency. Israeli forces continued to pound numerous Hamas targets, killing the top commanders of the terrorist outfit. IDF launched a large-scale ground incursion inside the Gaza Strip with the intent to kill Hamas militants. Israeli tanks have been active inside Gaza for at least four days following Hamas’ attack on October 7. At least 8,525 people have been killed in Israeli attacks since Oct 7, said Gaza health authorities.

In IDF’s airstrike, Mabduh Shaalabi, a Hamas special naval forces operative involved in attacks against Israel was killed. Israel's high-scale retaliation is turning out to be a nightmare for Hamas as more than 1,000 terrorists have been neutralized. The Israeli military has announced that its ultimate goal is to wipe out the top political and military hierarchy of Hamas. Earlier in successful air strikes, IAf attacked the headquarters of Hamas in Gaza and killed senior Hamas operatives. Among the senior operatives, Osama Mazini, Muetaz Eid, Ayman Nofal, and more were killed in IDF airstrike. So far, Israeli Air Force's fighter jets demolished over 250 military targets in the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, the Hamas has claimed that they were holding over 200 hostages in Gaza, the Times of Israel reported. However, IDF on October 20 confirmed the release of two US citizens identified as Judith Tai Raanan, Natali Raanan. The American citizens have been handed over safely to the Israeli Troops.
