The International Monetary Fund (IMF) in its flagship World Economic Outlook projected that India will be the fastest-growing economy in the world amid financial sector turmoil, high inflation, ongoing effects of the Russia-Ukraine war, and three years of COVID. Rs 3,000 crores with Japanese government, for work related to the design, construction of the underground Mumbai High-Speed Rail Station. This is first contract being awarded on the Maharashtra side of Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed bullet train corridor. The total area of the station complex is 4.85 hectares and total completion time is expected to be 54 months from the date of commencement. The station will have six platforms and length of each platform is approximately 415 metres, which is sufficient to accommodate a 16-coach bullet train. It is pertinent to note that Bandra Kurla Complex HSR station is the only underground station on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor. The platform is planned at a depth of about 24 meters from the ground level and will have three floors including a platform, concourse and service floor. Two entry/exit points are planned one to facilitate access to the nearby metro station and the other towards the adjacent MTNL building. #BulletTrain #Japan #IndiaJapan

Multiple race-winner and veritable legend David Coulthard drove the championship-winning car – the RB7 - on the streets of Bandra. Along with the live demo of the RB7 with Coulthard, the showrun also had a bike stunt riding showcase featuring Arunas ‘Aras’ Gibieza. The track picked for this year's event is the iconic Bandra Bandstand, right in front of Mannat, Shah Rukh Khan's residence. Mumbai Traffic Police on Saturday issued traffic diversions and a list of alternate routes ahead of Formula 1 Show Run Project event in Bandra. This isn’t the first time that Red Bull has brought its showrun to India. Its last appearance in the country was at the Hyderabad showrun in 2015. Earlier versions of the showrun were held on Mumbai’s Bandra-Worli Sea Link in 2009, and on the streets of Delhi in 2011.

Speed climbing is one of five sports that have been included in the programme for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics along with baseball/softball, bowling, karate, surfing and skateboarding. Italy's Ludivico Fossali won the men's event after Russian Stanislav Kokorin committed a false start. But in the small final it was a much closer affair with Italian Leonardo Gontero winning in a time of 6.25 seconds, beating Russian Aleksandr Shikov by three hundredths of a second. In the women's event, France's Anouk Jaubert was triumphant in the final, beating Mariia Krasavina of Russia.
