Home Minister of Haryana Anil Vij spoke on the situation in Nuh after state witnessed violence that erupted between two groups on July 31.During an interaction with the media, he said that everything was pre-planned, as people ascended hills around the temples, had lathis, and gathered at entry points. He further stated that several rounds were fired and that some persons had arranged weapons to disturb the peace, law and order in the region. In addition, he stated that the government does not want to rush to a conclusion without conducting a comprehensive investigation, and that internet connections would be restored after the situation in the region improves.

A communal clash broke out between two groups in Haryana's Nuh district on July 31st. Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij, and former state CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda reacted to the Nuh violence. Several cars and properties were damaged as a result of the clash. The police forces were deployed in the area and mobile internet services have been temporarily suspended. On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a wreath-laying ceremony was held at Kargil War Memorial in Ladakh. Tributes were paid to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the 1999 Kargil War. Army Chief General Manoj Pande laid a wreath at the War Memorial. Other than him, Indian Navy Chief R Hari Kumar also paid homage to the soldiers. Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari paid tribute to the soldiers. Chief of Defence Staff Anil Chauhan also laid wreath at the Kargil War Memorial. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also reached Ladakh to pay homage to the soldiers who lost their lives. Lt Governor of Ladakh, BD Mishra also reached the War Memorial to pay homage to the soldiers. Kargil War was one of the toughest wars fought in the most inhospitable conditions, both due to its geographical and climatic conditions. During the war, the Indian Army recaptured the strategic peaks of Tololing, Tiger Hill, and Point 4875, among others.

The much-awaited, Made in India Metro rail rake finally arrived in Mumbai from Bangalore on 28th January for Metro lines 2A and 7. The six-coach rake is manufactured by Bharat Earth Movers Limited in Bangalore. While the coaches reached the Charkop Metro depot, a trailer carrying the engine developed a snag and broke down on Sion-Dharavi Link Road. Watch this video for more.
