Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India Nitin Gadkari on April 02 kick-started his election campaign in Nagpur. The BJP candidate from Nagpur constituency held a road show in South-West region of the city and received a warm welcome from the residents. Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis joined the Union Minister during his road-show ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. The city of Nagpur is scheduled to hold the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on Arpil 19 during the first phase. "People are welcoming me with enthusiasm. Former Bihar Deputy CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav arrived at the Bihar Assembly in Patna on February 12. Amid huddles and shifting of MLAs to secure locations in the state or beyond ahead of the crucial trust vote, both the JDU-NDA alliance and the RJD party claimed to have the majority. Janata Dal (United) leader Rajiv Ranjan Prasad on February 12 said that the NDA alliance will get the majority and the government will complete its tenure. RJD supporters gathered outside former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav’s residence and raised anti-Nitish slogans to extend their support to Tejashwi Yadav.
