54th IFFI Event: The 54th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) kicked off on November 20 at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Taleigao-Goa which is scheduled to go on till the 28th of November. From Shahid Kapoor, to Sunny Deol, Madhuri Dixit, Shreya Ghoshal, Karan Johar, Sara Ali Khan and many others attended the IFFI event in Goa. Madhuri Dixit was honored with an award for her contribution to Bharatiya Cinema Award at IFFI 2023. Sunny Deol made his debut at the festival. Sanjay Raut slams centre for Abhishek Banerjee's ED summon

The first meeting of the Coordination Committee of the I.N.D.I.A. (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) is scheduled to take place at NCP chief Sharad Pawar's residence in Delhi on September 13. INDIA bloc held its third meeting in Mumbai on September 01 and announced a 14-member coordination committee. The names of 13 members have been announced; however, the name from TMC is yet to be revealed. TMC had nominated Abhishek Banerjee for the meet, who is being summoned by the ED today.  Talking about his summon, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut said BJP is deliberately doing this because they don't want Banerjee to attend the meet.

BMC to shell out Rs 1,300 crore for sewage treatment plants

Mumbai civic body, the BMC has proposed to set up two sewage treatment plants for Dahisar river and five for Oshiwara. The Dahisar river is 13 km long, out of which 4.7 km is outside SGNP and falls under the BMC’s jurisdiction. There will be two sewage treatment plants of capacity 1.5 MLD and 5 MLD at Dahisar. The Oshiwara river is 7.3 km long and will have five sewage treatment plants with a combined capacity of 20.5 MLD. The administration has proposed to give the contract to SK-SP associates at a cost of Rs 376 crore and to M/S Shapurji Palanji and Konark at a total cost of Rs 928 crore.
