PM Narendra Modi during his visit to Kerala on 27th February revealed the names of the four astronauts who have been selected for India's first human space mission Gaganyaan. Group Captain Prashanth Nair, Ajit Krishnan, Angad Pratap and Wing Commander Shubhanshu Shukla will join the mission. PM Modi reviewed the progress of Gaganyaan Mission and bestowed astronaut wings to the astronaut designates. Five Members of Parliament (MPs) from the Rajya Sabha have lodged complaints about their alleged unauthorised inclusion in a proposed Select Committee on the Delhi Services Bill by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha. This move has triggered a call for a Privilege Motion against Chadha, stirring debates and discussions within the parliamentary framework. Home Minister Amit Shah has also accused Chadha of fraudulent activity. He called for an investigation by the parliament's Privilege Committee into this matter. The proposal for the creation of the Select Committee itself was made by Chadha, with the intention of subjecting the Delhi Services Bill to thorough scrutiny. In response to the allegations, Chadha maintained his readiness to address the situation. Chadha's effort to send the bill to a select committee was eventually defeated by a voice vote.

The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has unanimously decided to leave the selection of the new Karnataka Chief Minister to the All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Mallikarjun Kharge. Speaking to the media after the meeting, Congress’ National Spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Surjewala said, “Two resolutions were passed in the CLP meeting today. One resolution was presented by DK Shivakumar thanking Karnataka people and other Congress leaders for their support in the stellar performance in Karnataka Assembly elections. The other was presented by Siddaramaiah which asked the CLP to leave the selection of the new Karnataka Chief Minister to the All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Mallikarjun Kharge which was endorsed by everybody.”
