Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL): Watch exclusive night view of Atal Setu

Constructed at the cost of Rs.18,000 crores, Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), also known as Atal Setu was inaugurated today by PM Modi. An infrastructure marvel never seen before in India - now a reality for Mumbaikars. This 21.8-kilometre-long Mumbai Trans Harbour Link bridge would help cover the distance between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai in just 20 minutes which otherwise takes 2 hours. More than 5000 workers and engineers worked every day for the completion of the project since work began in mid-2018. Many of the workers and engineers had to take an hour-long boat ride every day to their work site. MTHL inauguration will take place today in Mumbai by PM Narendra Modi. PM Modi in Navi Mumbai says ‘Atal Setu’ a picture of developed India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public event in Navi Mumbai today. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth more than Rs 12,700 crore and flagged off the inaugural run of the EMU train from Uran railway station to Kharkopar, earlier. In his speech, PM Modi in Navi Mumbai said that Atal Setu is the picture of developed India and this is a glimpse of what a developed India is going to be like. The PM Modi in Navi Mumbai also said, “Today's date is massive, not just for Mumbai and Maharashtra, but it also takes us a step closer to our resolution of Viksit Bharat.  It's a testament that we deliver on our promises. On 24 December 2016, I laid the foundation for the Atal Setu and vowed that Bharat will change and grow.”

Atal Setu is the longest bridge in India and also the longest sea bridge in the country. Built at cost of over Rs 17,840 crore, all you need to know about Atal Setu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Maharashtra tomorrow and unveil projects worth over Rs 30,500 crore in the state. He will inaugurate the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu, built at a cost of about Rs 17,840 crore. Atal Setu is the longest bridge and also the longest sea bridge in the country. The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) which is the longest sea bridge in the country, will be inaugurated on Friday, January 12. Here’s the first look of India's longest sea bridge Mumbai Trans Harbour Link the 'Atal Setu'. The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link is constructed at a cost of around Rs 18,000 crore. The MTHL is a 6-lane sea link, with 16.50 kilometres of the stretch on the sea and 5.5 km on land. Maha cabinet approves renaming of 2 key sea links after Savarkar, Vajpayee

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Wednesday announced that Versova–Bandra Sea Link will be named as Veer Savarkar Setu and Mumbai Trans Harbour Link to be renamed as Atal Bihari Vajpayee Smruti Nhava Sheva Atal Setu. The decision to rename MTHL was taken in the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Other than this, Maharashtra cabinet also decided to expand the limit of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yogana from ₹2 lakh to ₹5 lakh. Last month, Eknath Shinde, had announced that Versova-Bandra Sea Link will be named after Savarkar. The decision was approved by the cabinet today.The upcoming Versova-Bandra Sea link will connect Andheri to the Bandra-Worli Sea Link as part of the coastal road project. The MTHL will connect Mumbai to Navi Mumbai. The construction work of the sea link is expected to be over by the end.

CM Shinde, Dy CM Fadnavis inspect, take test drive on Mumbai Trans Harbour Link

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday inspected the under-construction Mumbai Trans-Harbour Link. The bridge is 22-km long between the metropolis and its satellite city Navi Mumbai. The six-lane road bridge, also known as Sewri-Nhava Sheva Trans Harbour Link, is being constructed by th e MMRDA. The bridge begins in Sewri in south Mumbai and terminates at Chirle near Nhava Sheva. A small function was held on the deck of the bridge, following which Shinde and Fadnavis went for a test drive towards Navi Mumbai in Shinde’s private high-end car. Fireworks were also seen upon the completion of test drive by the CM and Dy CM.
