Voting for the Second phase of 2024 Lok Sabha Elections has begun on April 26 and will go on till 6 pm today. India's Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman cast her vote in Bengaluru. After casting her vote, she motivated other Indian to come and cast their votes. Sitharaman expressed her satisfaction at the early turnout and emphasized the importance of stable governance, good policies, progress, and development. Sitharaman also shred her views on property tax and inheritance tax. She mentioned that such measures would adversely affect the middle class and aspirational individuals. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has echoed External Affairs Minister Jaishankar’s views on Europe. Last year, External Affairs Minister had said “Europe has to grow out of its mindset that its problems are world problems”.
