Mountain to climb for Rubin Kazan

Rubin Kazan have a mountain to climb to reach the last 16 of the Champions League tomorrow night as they take on in-form Barcelona at the Nou Camp knowing even a victory may not be enough to get a top-two spot.

With Barca already guaranteed first place and Panathinaikos certain to finish bottom, the only remaining battle in Group D heading into the final round is the race for second place. FC Copenhagen are second and they boast a one-point lead over Rubin prior to the visit of a Panathinaikos.
