Bollywood actor Kabir Bedi was at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday, celebrating Italy’s maiden win at the T20 World Cup — they beat Nepal by 10 wickets.

Bedi, who rose to fame in Italy for his portrayal of the pirate Sandokan in the eponymous TV series in 1976, was a special guest, invited by Cricket Italy.

“History was made! Italy’s first win in the T20 World Cup is an amazing achievement for a non-cricketing country that worships football,” Bedi wrote on Instagram.
